Marilyn Webber graduated from The
University of Oklahoma with a B.A. degree
in Radio/TV/Film. There she wrote,
directed and produced her first short film.
She earned her M.F.A. in Screenwriting at
The American Film Institute. Marilyn
began her career writing for animation,
film, and television, and has been a WGA
member for over ten years.

Her work has garnerned an ACADEMY
AWARD Nomination and a HUMANITAS
Nomination in addition to winning an
NAACP Award, NEA Award for the
Advancement of Learning in Broadcasting,
the American Library Award for Best
Children's Video, and Best Short Film in
the Indiana Film Festival. Her scripts have
also won The Texas Film Festival and the
ScriptapaloozaTV Contest.

Marilyn Webber has freelanced for such
networks, studios, and companies as
ABC, CBS, USA, UPN, Disney, Paramount,
Sparky Animation, Universal, Saban, Hearst
Entertainment, KBC Media, Ruby-Spears,
and Warner Bros.

In addition, she has written a series of five
nonfiction books on writing titled, The
Writer's Road Map Series.
